Basketball
Thank
you for visiting our site. We are excited about being
able to serve our community. Our Mission is to provide
our young athletes with a premier basketball experience.
Fall
Basketball Registration is closed and our season
has begun.
For those of you that missed our Fall Season we will be
registering for for our Spring Basketball
league starting February 4rth, 2008.
Registration details will be posted soon.
Volunteer
coaches are required to pay a coaches certification fee
of $25, undergo a background check and purchase coaches
shirt.
Registration
fees are used for J.I.S.D. gym rental fees, paying officials,
security and other costs associated with league.
Parents
will need a copy of child's birth certificate in order
to register. You will be provided with a reversible jersey
for use while playing games. The jersey is not included
in the price of registration. There will be 7 to 10 games
played including a tournament/playoff. Any out of town
or national tournaments are not part of the registration
should your child's team qualify and decide to enter.
We
will try to ensure that teams will not be larger than
10 players to ensure that all children get adequate playing
time.The
age is based on the Child's age as of August 1, 2007,
the age groups are as follows.
