This page was designed especially for our coaching and volunteer staff. Here you will find important information for our coaches and links to forms that are required. We would like to thank all of our coaches & volunteers for your dedication and hard work, without you our program cannot function.
It is important as a coach or volunteer that you understand that you are not only stewards of this organization but to our youth as well. Integrity of our program is paramount and although we are blessed to have you we must always ensure that that safety of our youth is paramount and of our utmost concern. We must be careful to ensure that our youth stay engaged and that we are equipped to train them.
We will provide you with the tools that you need to support the youth through training and experience. As well as run back ground checks annually to ensure that we maintain a safe environment. It is our hope that you maintain this environment and we encourage your thoughts and feedback on how to make it better. Below are links to forms that will be needed for each sport and season you participate in.
Coaching attire can be purchased through the organization and is required at all sporting events.
Football : TYFA will be hosting three coaches clinics you must register in advance to attend them in order to coach in their organization. Two of the clinics will be in San Marcos, TX and one will be in Houston TX. According to TYFA there will be no make-up clinic dates. The details on the dates and fees can be found on the TYFA web page on this link www.tyfa.com. Once you register we will be notified after you have cleared background check.
Basketball: Our recreational basketball season begins in the later part of January and concludes late February or early March interested coaches should contact us no later than the second week in January prior to the season start.
Select basketball coaches should look to look to begin coaching during the same timeframe to begin that AAU/YBOA season though August.
Track: Our track season starts late April and runs through July interested coaches should contact us no later than march.
